Volunteer Flashback
This photo from 1995 appeared in The Canberra Times of 5 April as part of a
feature looking back at Canberra volunteers who offered their services to those
in need. It asked the question “What would we do without them?”
It features our dear friend Laura Turnbull who was part of the Holy Cross
congregation and a much loved member of joint St Margaret’s/Holy Cross
choirs for many years.
I well remember seeing Laura handing out material at a major Volunteers
event.
