It’s time for the official 2019-20 Golf Season at
St. Johns Golf & Country Club to begin! We are
excited to roll out a few new features to this
season and increase the member experience
to provide the best service we possibly can.
These new features include a cleaner, faster
registration process for all our leagues and club
events, a live scoring functionality to keep track
of a player’s progress in real time, and a member
portal experience so players can reference tee
sheets, player analytics and results!
All of this is possible due to the expansion of
our tournament software Golf Genius Premium.
Golf Genius Premium is an easy way for the St.
Johns G&CC Golf Shop to communicate to its
golfers and keep track of player standings, event
registrations, league invitations, tournament
results, and much more. We are still diving into
the software’s capabilities and are sure to make
use of the system. For now, it’s important that
each member assist the golf operation with any
feedback or recommendations on the systems
functionality so that we know we are providing
the best service to you.
With that, the first big adjustment to the
membership experience at this time of the year
is the registration for our leagues and events.
Each league or event (Senior Game, Saturday
Game, Couples Game, Club Championship,
Member-Member) will require members to
register. This will assist the golf shop with
keeping track of players and their preferences
for each type of league. Emails will be going out
to the membership in September asking players
to complete a Registration Form for the season.
This only needs to be completed once for each
league and event. After that, we will hold this
information in each members Golfer Profile to
avoid any confusion about important details
such as tee selection, handicap index, or pairings
requests.
For now, please take the time to download the
Golf Genius App which can be found in your
smartphones App Store. It is free and easy to
download and will get you prepared to use the
new features. Once you’ve downloaded the app,
use the GGID code SJGCC. You should see all
the available leagues and events to register for
the 2019-20 Golf Season. Once you select an
event, please click on the Member Portal option
to explore that events website. Once the games
have begun, you will be able to use this code to
keep track of pairings, scoring and results.
The possibilities might be endless with this new
software and we look forward to providing you
with this new player experience. As mentioned,
