LETTER FROM YOUR GENERAL MANAGER FA L L 2 0 1 8 St Johns Members, It’s hard to believe that October has arrived, and we are already preparing for Fall and soon the Holiday season. There certainly has been no shortage of activity at the Club recently and we do not expect to slow down any time soon. Thank you to all those who participated in our Tubular Awesome 80’s Night at the Club. It was amazing to see all the creative outfits and so many people enjoy playing golf for the first time ever. We hope to continue these types of golf and social events throughout the year! Starting this month, we will be asking all members to begin signing receipts for all charges made to Club accounts. This initiative and request are in effort to document all authorized purchases, helping to eliminate any account errors. There will be signage posted through the club as a reminder in advance of this process. Our bunker renovation has begun and there are multiple pieces of construction equipment on the golf course. The team is working to minimize the effect on your round by completing one bunker at a time, one hole at a time. For your safety, please avoid these areas while you play. Lastly, the staff at St. Johns is continuously working to improve our communication to the membership by auditing our email database regularly. Please make a point to connect with the Golf Shop to confirm your information in the system is correct. We understand that emails occasionally may go to junk or spam boxes, but we want to continue to work and make sure everyone is up to date with the Club’s activities. Sincerely, Ben Pasquith General Manager 3
