LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
St Johns Members,
We are in the final stretch of 2019 and it is remarkable to think of how quickly the year
has flown by. It has been a tremendous season for the Club, and we look forward to
wrapping the last few months up in a big way.
With the assistance of the Advisory Committee, we are excited to announce the
formation of a Competition Committee that will partner with the Golf Operation with
major events and weekly games. Co-Chaired by Karen Hunnicutt and David McDonie,
the Committee’s purpose is to provide feedback on all Club competitions, council on
decisions, and to be a group fellow members can approach with questions or concerns.
We look forward to their work and partnership this season.
Chef Eric Fritsche has been busy lately preparing a new option for our Community to
enjoy on Wednesday nights. Beginning October 9th, the restaurant will be offering
a “Gourmet Take Away” menu for families looking to take home a great family meal.
Various offerings will be published weekly, and you will be able to place your order
online for pick up between 5:00 and 7:00 PM. Be on the lookout October 7th for the first
opportunity to select your Wednesday night dinner.
Lastly, congratulations to all our Club Championship division and flight winners. Thank
you to everyone who participated in a wonderful event and it was a delight to see the
size of the field. Our Member-Member is this month and I encourage everyone to register
and help make it a great event!
