Club & Hand Positions
Figure 20 C3 DL Parallels
The shaft and club head continue a path up the original plane line to a point where the
club is in a toe up position passing through the hands. The shaft is parallel to the
ground and the target line, just over the ball of the foot. The wrists have begun to
hinge and the right arm is folding, the club face should match the back of the forearm.
Figure 21 C3 FR Butt end past the foot
Many of the positions listed from the DL are also evident
from this view. This view shows you thenproper width or
the distance the club is from the body. When the club is at
parallels, the butt-end is behind the foot.

Figure 22 C4 DL Hands in Front
The shaft is pointing up to the sky tilted just to the inside of the
ball. The wrists have fully hinged while the right arm has folded
into a 90 degree angle. The left arm is parallel to the ground and
the hands are in line with the sternum and the club-face is still
maintaining its square relationship with the back of the forearm.
Figure 23 C4 FR Form an L
The left arm is parallel to the ground and both wrists have hinged. The right arm is on
top of the left arm and the right shoulder is rounded and still visible. The rounded right
shoulder assists in the proper folding of the right arm, right wrist set, arm rotation
and keeps the arms, club and hands in front of your body.
