St. Johns May 2019 Newsletter P2_STM79572 May Newsletter | Page 3

LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER M AY 2 0 1 9 St Johns Members, May will be rejuvenating as we transition into consistently warmer temperatures, the start of the summer golf season, better growing conditions for the golf course, and the excitement of the clubhouse renovation and expansion. Over the next two months, there will be a lot of activity at the club as we commence construction in June. Our contractor and team will be on site frequently to help coordinate the mobilization of the heavy equipment to begin the ground breaking. The phasing of the renovation is still being completed, but we want to emphasize that our Dining Room will still be open throughout the project. Interruptions to service will be very limited and we plan to offer some very fun and unique events that revolve around the construction. Please be on the lookout for information soon. Our new platform on the Member page of the website is nearing completion. This new page will contain recent newsletters, meeting agenda minutes, event dates, tournament winners, and a new link for you to view member statements and make payments online. As we near the “go live date”, instructions will be provided on how to access this new link. We hope the link will help provide a convenient method of viewing and paying statements. Recently, a membership survey was emailed out that contained ten brief questions regarding your experience at St. Johns. I hope each of you can complete the survey and feel you can elaborate on any area the Club can improve. With this information, we will be able to continue to work towards improving the service for our membership. Surveys, like this one, will be coming more frequently from the club and with the assistance of the Member Advisory Committee we are able to begin pinpointing specific areas to gather feedback from our entire membership. We are looking forward to the start of a great summer at the Club and I look forward to seeing everyone at the course soon. Best regards, Ben Pasquith General Manager 3
