LETTER FROM TOM BURNETT M AY 2 0 1 9 Address Introduction: The address is what sets up all the cause and effect relationships in the dynamics of your golf swing. The alignments, angles and balance of your body will set the stage for your ability to repeat the movements of your body motion as well as the way the club, wrist and arms swing. Grip: Figure One Place the club in your left hand so that the grip handle will run diagonally through your palm. The butt end of the grip handle will extend approximately 1/2 in beyond the hand with the muscular heel pad more on top of the grip handle. Figure Two The left hand and fingers should now be on the club that the left thumb runs down the center of the shaft. A V is formed in the webbing between your left hand thumb and the side of the hand above the index finger. There is also an evident V between the top of the index finger knuckle and the middle thumb knuckle. Tom Burnett Tom Burnett Golf Academy 9
