Dear St. Johns Golf and Country Club Members,
Please come join me in a very special afternoon of golf at your club on March 24, 2019 at
4:00 pm.
The unique format includes teams of 3 members and 1 outstanding First Tee golfer in a
shotgun scramble format. It is $100 to enter (sign-up sheet is in the golf shop) and ALL of
this money goes to kids’ programs at our local First Tees.
So far, The First Tee Series has taken place at Ponte Vedra Club (Oct.7), Timuquana
Club (Nov 4), and San Jose Club (Dec 2) with outstanding results! Over $12,000 was
raised collectively. I am asking for your support to out-do those clubs. We are looking
for 12-15 threesomes to knock this out of the park! With the help of Ben Pasquith, your
General Manager, and with your anticipated support, I look forward to creating a fun and
memorable day for our children at the First Tee.
I created this event for a few reasons: to bring more awareness to what great things
the First Tee is doing with our youth; raise money for the First Tee so they can not only
continue what they’re doing but also grow their mission; and most importantly for the kids
to connect with outstanding community members like yourselves so they can continue to
be inspired and grow through the great game of golf. This feature is immeasurable.
Sign up for March 24th and impact junior golfers’ lives forever and we will celebrate after
with food & drinks at our reception! See you there!
