LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
JUNE 2019
It is remarkable to think we are almost halfway through the year. Thus far, 2019 has been
an incredible year at the Club with the announcement of our Clubhouse renovation. Later
this month, we will begin breaking ground and starting the sitework for the foundation
and event lawn. Once work has commenced, the west side of the Clubhouse grounds will
no longer be accessible for cart traffic or as an entrance. Prior to the start, St. Johns will
layout temporary cart parking and communicate our recommendations for Clubhouse
access between holes 9 and 10.
In April, we sent a survey that covered several broad topics to solicit feedback from
the entire Membership. Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide responses
and comments. With the assistance of the Advisory Committee, we will begin to create
multiple surveys each year that will target more specific areas like member events,
food and beverage, and tournaments. Our intention is to send these quarterly but may
increase frequency when necessary.
Our team at St. Johns has been working towards enhancing our communication to the
membership. The Membership area of our website is live and full of great information,
becoming a great central location for you to access all club newsletters, email notices,
billing information, and Committee minutes. Please check this page regularly for updates
and important notices published.
Lastly, the extreme temperatures and dry conditions are an immediate concern and your
safety when utilizing the Club is very important to us. Please make sure you are staying
hydrated through the day and frequenting the water coolers and beverage carts. Please
inform a member of our staff if you begin to feel uncomfortable in the heat, we will be
happy to assist.
