It’s summertime at St. Johns which means we will see a less active golf course during this
time of the year, especially during the day. The day after Memorial Day begins our first
round of aerification on the golf course which gives our Golf Course Maintenance staff an
opportunity to let the golf course breathe and take care of any stressed areas along the
way.
The summertime will also bring out a lot more juniors from the school rooms to the golf
course as well, which is a great alternative for our future professionals. Junior programs
such as the PGA Junior League, Summer Camps and Tournaments will be available from
June-August so please invite any interested junior to join us during this time, and help get
them out of the house for a little bit.
For our members, the club will be adding two additional games per week. Every Tuesday,
the club will host a Ladies Game at 8:30 in the morning and every Sunday, the club will host
a Couples Game at 1:00 pm in the evening. The golf staff is very excited to be introducing
these new games and our proud that we are able to do so. Invitations to each game will be
sent out weekly, so please sign-up and participate!
