LETTER FROM YOUR GENERAL MANAGER
WINTER 2019
St Johns Members,
I hope each of you have had a great start to 2019 and enjoyed the great weather that
January brought. It is exciting the think that we are almost through winter and ready to hit
spring with enthusiasm and excitement.
Thank you to everyone who played in the One Day Member Guest on January 20th. A fluke
cold front moved through and for those who made it through the day, you were braver
than me! Congratulations to all our winners and guests!
This month, there are several great events to participate in at the Club. The Casper
Cup will be played on the 23rd and 24th, Wine and Tapas will return on the 9th, Trivia
on the 1st, and Bingo on the 15th. Stay on the lookout for each event’s information and
registration.
We will begin transplanting the nursery green onto the golf course this month in phases
to remove the intrusive Bermuda that has scattered through the putting surfaces. Through
the spring, we will be removing small sections at a time to limit the effect during your
round. Your patience will be appreciated as Andy and his team complete this project.
Let’s all hope that the great weather continues in February and we get to March ready for
a great spring!
