LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
St . Johns Members ,
As you read this article , we will have completed our first aerification and topdressing of the winter months . The aerification we be done with 1 / 2 bayonet tines and the hole will resemble a knife . We will be completing the second of our fall pre-emergence to help reduce annual broadleaves and help reduce poa-annua . Also , we will be working on normal fall projects , like cutting down dead trees and a few drainage projects as well
Keeping our course looking beautiful is a team effort , not only by the maintenance team , but golfers as well . We appreciate those who respect the traffic and cart path restrictions and want to encourage everyone to work on following them when in place . Also , the extra minute it takes for you to repair ball marks and fill fairway divots helps us tremendously and keeps the course enjoyable for those playing after you .
