LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

To members of SJGCC,
My staff and I are very pleased with the condition of the golf course through this summer
and we hope you are enjoying its conditions. Through the year, we have been hard at work
with various applications and course treatments and I believe we are seeing the dividends
of the hard work.
Recently, we completed our second greens aerification to help prep the course for fall
and winter golf. Through this, we take a close examination of soil conditions and make
necessary adjustments to keep our playing conditions at its best.
Our greens transplant process is continuing well as we begin on holes 4 and 6. The
expected completion date was originally at the end of July, but the project has taken
longer to complete than anticipated. Our goal is to complete these two holes by the end of
August. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this project.
