LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER

St Johns Members,
This month’s newsletter is full of great information and club updates from all
departments. We are rolling into the last stretch of summer and preparing for the
2019/2020 Golf Season so please be sure to read through each article closely to stay up
to date!
Our Clubhouse renovation is moving forward, although not at the speed we originally
hoped. Currently, we are awaiting final construction permitting from St. Johns County
before we will begin our site preparation. Our original timeline had sitework being
completed mid July and construction beginning at the end of month. This slight delay
has placed us two weeks behind but feel this timing can be made up through the
renovation and still be completed by end of year. We will provide firmer updates via
email and posting to our urgent updates section of the Member tab of our website.
The Advisory Committee for the 2018/2019 has completed their final meeting and we
thank them for their feedback and conversations on how to continue to improve the
Member experience at St. Johns. We are currently soliciting volunteers to serve on
next year’s Committee. If you would like to assist, please email myself at bpasquith@
stjohnsgolf.com. Random selection for open seats will be held on August 15th.
The World’s Largest Golf Outing is set to be played on Monday, August 5th and I invite
you to participate in this great event to benefit the Fisher House Foundation. Entry for
the event is $75 and includes a $10 donation to the charity, golf cart, lunch, and a $25
