why are you interested in working on this project? We believe in the power of sports. We love the way it can uplift and transform individuals, families, friendships and the community as a whole. We love that it’s a universal language that transcends generations, genders and cultures. We are passionate about taking an active part in your vision that is inherently so positive and inspiring. As creative professionals whose extracurriculars include ten hours of tennis a week and obstacle courses on weekends, we think we are the perfect fit for this amazing complex. And our team’s deep connection to DC doesn’t hurt either. DC area residents have their share of sports fields, and according to the New York Post they have the most gyms per capita. They even have a choice of country clubs, with pools and restaurants (and dress codes). What they don’t have is a place that puts all of those elements together. A facility that appeals to kids, young professionals, families and seniors. A complex where aspiring athletes can improve their speed, their pitching or their free throws with professional level coaching. A haven for adults to recharge and relax with personal fitness, spas and top caliber food. A space for the weekend warriors to pelt each other with dodge balls. The St. James is all of those things. The benefit to the community is obvious. The challenge is how to create and tell your unique story. What is the phrase that perfectly sums up everything the St. James will offer? That’s what excites us the most about this project. It’s a problem we can’t wait to solve, and then build a brand around it.
