Pueri Cantores Festival 2014
Each year , Pueri Cantores organizes Choral Festivals and
Masses for Roman Catholic Parishes and School Choirs
(welcoming choristers grades 4-12) in Cathedrals and
churches around the United States. The singers join together as one large choir to prepare and present great
liturgical music whose repertoire spans some 1500
years—from Gregorian chant and polyphony to masterworks of the Twentieth and Twenty-first Centuries. This
year, the American Federation Pueri Cantores Florida
Choral Festival & Mass for Treble and Mixed Voice Choirs
took place at St. James Cathedral. Dr. Richard Robbins
was the Conductor and Mrs. Jennings– St.James Children
& Youth Choir Director-was the organist for the event.
The congregation really enjoyed the Mass they presented.
We are so proud of the St. James Children’s Choir and
the St. James Jubilate Youth Choir. Congratulations to our
SJCS students who are in each choir!
