EDITOR’S NOTE
St. Augustine Legal Affairs or STALA as it has
fondly become known, is
a direct output from the
UWI St. Augustine Law
Society. In addition to being a culmination of the
year’s events, it is also the
window through which
the voices of members
of our society are heard.
We, the UWI St. Augustine Law Students do believe that we have a voice
and we insist that our voices rise to the top. STALA gives us that opportunity and we thank you
for sharing in this feat with us as you read.

It gives me great pleasure to be a part of this Law
Society where anything seems possible and not
even the sky is the limit. I hope that future Executives maintain the mentality of working hard
and playing hard. This life is a short one, and
whatever we do we must do to the best of our
