WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
A warm welcome to all law students ! It is with great pleasure that we can present to you the first issue of St . Augustine Legal Affairs , a publication of the UWI STA Law Society . Through the tireless efforts of the society ' s publications committee , we can present to you a magazine that is reflective of the minds and passions of the student body of the faculty of law .
As a student body , we are fortunate enough to be a part of history in the making . We are members of the first groups of law students who will be able to attain our LLB fully from the St Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies . In this regard , with the formation of a full faculty of law , the student body plays an essential role in creating a lasting legacy for generations to come .
The pages of this magazine contain the views , knowledge and creativity of the students of the Faculty of Law . It is but a small share of the wealth that we as a student body have to offer . It is the hope of the executive that students will appreciate and cherish this magazine , as it is undoubtedly a timeless piece of our history as law students .
