CATHOLIC SPIRIT WEEK
This Catholic Spirit Week, the Student Council put together a fantastic array of activities. We had Twin Day and Career Day for the middle school, Crazy Accessories for the lower school, Crazy Hair Day for the entire school, and root beer floats for everybody! There was also a seminarian, or as some of the little kids would say, cemitarian, who gave a beautiful talk to all the staff and students. Of course S. T. U. C. O wouldn’ t leave out the teachers, so there was teacher coffee cart and all the teachers got coffee and( possibly) some sweet treat served by the Form V. I am new to the school, and overall I think it was amazing. I would like to give a shout out to all the people who made this possible. Thank you!
THE ST. AUSTIN ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT
By Payton Buck
The Christmas Concert this year was terrific. The students sang lots of great songs, like“ Christmas Canon,” while Amelie Vogt from Form IV accompanied them on the cello. The lower school sang“ Don’ t Eat a Poinsettia” with a surprise performance from Matthew McBride and Natalie O’ Brien trying to eat the poinsettia. In the old favorite“ Good King Wenceslas,” Thomas Lattanzi and Will Jacob were soloists as the king and page. The whole night was fantastic! Thank you Mrs. Kenney for all your hard work.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRIVIA NIGHT
Middle school students who attended the STUCO-hosted trivia night had a blast! Held in our very own cafeteria, the rounds, like“ Name that Face,”“ Around St. Louis,”“ Theme Songs,” and more, included both easy and mind-boggling questions to thoroughly test students’ knowledge of many different topics. Five different tables contested against each other with classmates or invited friends to make a competitive yet fun evening for everyone. All tables gave a valiant try, but in the end Gregory Davis, Max Baumgartner, and a friend won the first prize of Chik-Fil-A gift cards, while Abigail and Thomas Schwarb, a friend, and Carolina Rivero won second prize of jars filled with candy. Also competitive that evening, Alive or Dead appeared as a solo game with the high stakes of a $ 5 Snack Cart gift card. Everyone gave their best, but Gregory Davis won at last! Congratulations to all who tried!
