Fifty teams from high schools across Qatar completed their research projects, from which the top 20 teams qualified and will be presenting in our annual High School Medical Conference (HSMC) in November. The High School Research Competition is an initiative designed to raise awareness about careers in medicine and strengthen current interest in science/medical fields. The research competition, which took place on April 10, is meant to develop partnerships with local schools and enhance college readiness skills by creating a platform for innovative public speaking and critical thinking.
