Over the past two years at WCM-Q, I believe that I've become a more confident and optimistic person. I've also learnt to be more hardworking & independent. Still working on my time management skills though! I'm grateful to be a student at WCM-Q and for all the opportunities it has provided.

Looking back at the person I was 2 years ago, I believe I’ve become a more polished version of myself. Amidst the chaos of moving to a different country, the astonishment of meeting a wide array of nationalities, the stress of the demanding curriculum and my occasional waves of homesickness, I’ve come a distance in understanding myself more and appreciating my surroundings better. I met wonderful students who helped me visualize my strengths and weaknesses; I met inspiring faculty who have and continue to help me slowly materialize my dreams into reality. I’m still the same passionate student I was 2 years ago, except my passion is now a more focused and mature force that will hopefully push me strong through medical school.

Besides the fact that most of my conversation topics are now medicine-related, I can see how much I've grown after joining WCM-Q. Both personal and professional experiences I've had were at times humbling, thrilling and terrifying, making it an enjoyable ride. Moreover, the overall experience is very rewarding especially after learning how to overcome the stresses of daily challenges. These small but glorious moments have made the experience all worthwhile, and have shaped who I am today. Finally, I've made friends that I might as well call family. All hurdles and struggles aside, I wouldn't change a thing.
