Doha Counselors Day took place on October 31, 2016. About 110 Counselors from many schools across Doha were invited over to the HBKU Student Center at Education City to discuss the latest requirements and updates of all nine universities. The event was in the form of presentations to begin with, then workshops were formed to more accurately deliver the information.

The 7th Qatar International University Fair at QNCC was held on October 17,18 & 19, 2016. It's one of the largest fairs in Doha, where students get to meet WCM-Q representatives to discuss application requirements.

The Office of Student Recruitment & Outreach visited 31 local and international schools in Qatar for recruitment purposes. The visits were in the form of presentations and fair settings to explain admissions requirements, application timelines, curriculum and financial aid opportunities to prospective students. The SRO also worked on raising public awareness for their outreach programs such as Healing Hands Essay Competition, Qatar Aspiring Doctors Program, Summer & Winter Programs, Medicine Unlimited and the newly introduced High School Research Competition and Medical Conference.
