Dr. Rachid Bendriss, Assistant Dean of Student Recruitment, Outreach & Foundation Programs.

Welcome to the first edition of Cornell Colors! It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to the official Student Recruitment and Outreach annual e-magazine, which aims at providing a glimpse into our vibrant community outreach efforts at WCM-Q.

During our work on this first edition, it became evident how this compilation testifies to the great collaborative effort that our community engages in, to bring to life a wide variety of outreach events and programs.

The Office of Student Recruitment and Outreach is committed to serving prospective students, parents, schools, and other partners by providing a supportive environment focused on relationship building through recruitment, outreach and cultivation initiatives.

Our mission consists of providing services and cultivation programs to attract students who, not only possess the academic profile that enables them to succeed and flourish in our medical program, but also well-rounded personalities who will enrich the student body at WCM-Q. As you read through the first edition of Cornell Colors, we hope you will get to know more about how our mission is accomplished.

I invite future students, parents, school administrators and community members to review our 2015-2016 spotlight activities and programs, in order to identify and engage in those that are of particular interest.

I take this opportunity to thank the leadership of WCM-Q and QF for their commitment to help us serve Qatar in building and enhancing local capacities. I would also like to thank current students, faculty and staff for their engagment and support for our outreach activities, without which none of these programs could be possible.

Please follow our Facebook and Twitter pages at the links below, for more information about future events.
