with really strong literacy links

The end is nigh...
Spiritual, moral social and cultural development in a
school can be an important aspect of the decision
about whether a school is outstanding. So in your
lesson ensure that your students are developing ‘the
skills and attitudes to enable them to participate fully
and positively in a democratic modern Britain’ (Ofsted,
School inspection handbook 2012a: 24)and reflect
about their values and beliefs. Prime the the students
in this by linking the lesson explicitly to one of the
Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTs). Success
could earn points to be added to the students’ Vivo
account. Some examples of tasks involving the PLTs
are in the table below.
