Where Do We Go From Here ?

2023 was an interesting year in real estate . . . and the early reports for 2024 is that it will be a time to remember ( in many ways ). These are likely to be some of the highlights : �
♦ The news has featured many stories about class action lawsuits with serious consequences for the real estate industry . Like most news nowadays , there is more smoke than fire . There has been some litigation ; but � so far � nothing has changed in our business . If and when it does , the best Companies and Agents will adapt to serve the customer in the same way that we always have . � �
♦ Inventory will continue to be below normal . There is too much “ pent up demand ” for this to change quickly . That ’ s good news for Sellers and continued challenges for Buyers . My suggestion ( for both ) is to choose your Agent wisely . This is no time to play house . � �
♦ As before . . . Mortgage Interest Rates will be a determining factor as to where the market heads in 2024 . If they go down , more inventory will come up for sale . If this happens for a sustained period of time , then supply and demand will balance . � �
♦ The market will continue to favor experienced Agents . There is just too much going on right now for it to be any other way . We welcome those who are new to real estate , and we will help you ( just as others helped us when we started out ). Being a Real Estate Agent isn ’ t easy ; but it is still one of the best ways to make a living . When the current period of activity balances out . . . you will have “ grown up ” in one of most challenging markets in history . � �
♦ Our goal in 2024 will be to continue to grow successfully and learn new ways to provide a better real estate experience . � �
