The Philomont General Store has served the community for over 100 years . Pick up a sandwich and sit on the porch while locals stop in to pick up mail inside at our post office .
The Philomont Horse Show , the second oldest horse show in Loudoun County , was a major fundraiser for Philomont VFD . Many new riders got their start at this much loved event .
Along Snickersville Turnpike , Hibbs Bridge carries drivers over Beaverdam Creek . It ’ s one of the oldest bridges in Loudoun County , dating back to 1829 .
Roszell Chapel , was re-erected in 1890 from the stone of another structure next to the original log Mountain Chapel ( circa 1770s ). It is located on
