Mouncey graduated to a hand-me-down Canon SLR in college at Syracuse University , where he received his only formal training in a freshman year photography course . These days he travels Loudoun with his ( newest ) Canon SLR and iPhone , stopping to record the scenes and topography unfolding before him when the light is just right .
