Brush Rehab Your Routine Brush Cleansing By Teresa Alvarez If you're a make-up fanatic like many out there, then you know about how much product gets left over on our brushes. Day after day, it builds up on our brushes and and it becomes harmful for our skin. The same way we regularly wash our clothes should be the way we wash our make-up brushes. Caring For Your Make-Up Brushes Brushes should be washed once a week using brush shampoo or a liquid soap. Reshape your brushes once they've been washed. It will keep their ware longer. Use a daily brush cleansing spray to use in between washes. This spray won't clean your brush thoroughly like soap, but it will lift some of the leftover make-up between uses. Use a cleansing glove to gently rub the brushes clean. Squeeze your brushes to wring out any trapped make-up. Repeat soap and water wash at least two (2) times. e.l.f. Brush Shampoo $6 e.l.f.
