Heroes Wanted ! NAFSA KC ISSS Awards Nominations Now Open
Nominations for NAFSA Knowledge Community for International Student and Scholar Services ( KC ISSS ) awards are now open . Each year , KC ISSS honors heroes on our campuses and in our communities who serve the field of international education and educational exchange with compassion , integrity and a spirit of volunteerism .
KC ISSS offers two awards ; Deadline to Submit Nominations for both Awards is May 1 , 2017 .
Hugh Jenkins Award for Excellence in Community Programming Recognizing individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to promoting global understanding and international exchange in the local community . Past awardees have included community volunteers and professionals who cultivated opportunities for community engagement .
KC ISSS Award of Excellence Honoring NAFSA members who have demonstrated outstanding qualities that distinguish them as leaders in the field of international student and scholar services . Past awardees have included international student and scholar professionals who have shown excellent leadership at their institutions while also contributing to NAFSA through volunteer leadership positions . We have amazing professionals in Region 6 ; please consider submitting a nomination !
