he Dragon dance is a traditional Chinese performance that can be dated back to more than a thousand years. It is believed to have originated from the Han Dynasty, or possibly earlier and may have been used in rain-making rituals, since they believed that dragons could control weather and water. As time went by, the dance was refined and put into ceremonies and festivals during the Tang and Song dynasties.
