Awesome GIRL Program Opportunities!
Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England Celebrates 100 years!
On December 2, 1919, Girl Scouts of Rhode Island was chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA in an effort to coordinate local efforts, organize troops in new areas, train leaders and provide camping opportunities—dedicated to building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) is celebrating 100 years with a Centennial Patch Program created
to commemorate our history and
celebrate the G.I.R.L. of today. During
our centennial year, girls can participate
in a variety of G.I.R.L. programs offered
through council and partner
organizations, as well as partake in
troop activities and council events
dedicated to our rich history.
Our Centennial Patch Program is
available throughout this 2018-2019
program year until December 2, 2019.
To earn this patch, girls must partake in
G.I.R.L. programs as well as complete an activity for each Keystone Petal
which includes an Alum Scavenger Hunt, GSSNE History, Evolution, and Events.
