Generations of women in our community point to one or more summers at Girl Scout Camp as the inspiration for a life-long love of the outdoors.
From sailing, canoeing and swimming, to archery and hiking—Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England believes that every girl should have the opportunity to experience a carefree summer outdoors enjoying new friendships and building her confidence by trying new things. This is why we help subsidize the cost of summer camp for many girls who’s families simply cannot afford the expense.
We are fortunate to be able to do this through a generous scholarship program supported by people like you—GSSNE’s Campership Fund.
But did you know that the fees we charge girls for a one week session of camp is
less than half of our council's true cost of $430 per girl for Day Camp and $995 for
Overnight Camp?
We are receiving requests each day for financial assistance from families who are anxious to provide a fun, outdoor summer experience for their girl. With your help
