Assist in the restoration efforts at Kent Fuller Air Station Prairie by helping with a variety of restoration activities such as removing non-native invasive plants or collecting seed . Bring work gloves if you have them . For families and individuals Ages 8 +. Volunteers under 15 must participate with an adult . Herbs can take your garden and dinner from drab to fab ! Learn to cultivate and utilize herbs as we create small planters , make a variety of compound butters , and mix up an herby mocktail .

Explore the art of container gardening as you learn to make and maintain a beautiful flower arrangement within a planter pot . All supplies are included in the registration fee .

Take some time for lunch and learn how to make an easy , delicious soup and homemade biscuits on the Farm . We ' ll cap the afternoon off by enjoying the meal .
