This fun class provides an introduction to clay , glazes , and the basics of handbuilding ; a creative and educational way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of ceramics . Clay Play is a great way to let your child get hands-on art experience in a classroom setting .

Students will draw , paint , and construct simple 3-D projects in this fun mixed-media class ! Students will explore their creativity while learning about fundamental 2-D concepts and techniques . Students will create artwork with colored pencils , pastels , watercolors , and tempera paint .

Each week , we ' ll dive into a new artistic adventure , exploring various mediums and techniques . From making mesmerizing slime to mastering the art of drawing and painting beloved characters from Pokemon , Minecraft , Roblox , and Mario , this class is a perfect blend of hands-on fun and artistic exploration .

Through a series of interactive demonstrations , hands-on exercises , and inspiring projects , students will learn various techniques such as washes , wet-on-wet , and dry brush to create stunning watercolor artworks .

Learn basic clay building techniques and decorating and glazing techniques using a wide variety of ceramic supplies and tools . Returning students are encouraged to work on their own fun and imaginative projects with instructor guidance . Clay , glazes , and tools are provided .

This class provides an introduction to the basic materials , methods , and principles of drawing and painting . As students create artworks in various media , they will gain an understanding of shape , form , value , texture , composition , proportion , and color .
