Don ' t just sing in the shower ! No auditions – music reading skills are not necessary . We rehearse every Thursday from 10 am-12 pm at the East Wing . We sing Broadway show tunes , musical variety numbers and great songs from the American Songbook . We entertain at local senior facilities where we are met with happy smiles !

Lincolnwood Place brings this fun program to bring out your true artist while having some snacks and some wine . You will bring home a painted canvas . The painting will be led by Lincolnwood Place staff and all materials will be provided .

Gary Wenstrup will present the history of James Taylor and Carly Simon . Not only is Gary an entertaining speaker , James and Carly have entertained us for a lifetime of fabulous music . Pizza and salad will be served before the fun begins .

Join us for lunch and a panel of our peers who will discuss their reasons for moving to senior living . Some went willingly and other went with resistance . Hear their insight into this big decision . After the panel , stay for lunch and have the opportunity to talk to those who made the move one-on-one . Sponsored by Brookdale Northbrook .

We will start with a spot of tea and a selection of high tea menu items . After tea , Jenny Riddle will perform in character as Camilla Parker Bowles from the book , The Palace Papers : Inside the House of Windsor , the Truth and the Turmoil , by Tina Brown . You ’ ll hear plenty of Buckingham Palace insights , sometimes downright gossip , about Elizabeth , Philip , Charles , William , Kate , Harry , and Meghan .

The Sunset Ridge Country Club is a beautiful place for our spring luncheon . After a delicious lunch , Martina Mathisen will entertain us as the sassy Mae West .
