In the tradition of the original Grove Literary Society established by Robert Kennicott and his father Dr . John , The Grove Heritage Association hosts a new book club that focuses on books about the natural history of the Chicagoland area to better understand where and how we live . Their first book is A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold . The group will discuss selected chapters each month .

Join master quilters in this 2-part class and learn the quilt-as-you-go technique to make a 12 ” X 19 ” table runner . NOT for beginners . Working knowledge of sewing and machines required . Indicate wine and fabric color preference in “ notes ” when registering .
