This fun class provides an introduction to clay , glazes , and the basics of handbuilding ; a creative and educational way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of ceramics . Clay Play is a great way to let your child get hands-on art experience in a classroom setting .

Students will draw , paint , and construct simple 3-D projects in this fun mixed-media class ! Students will explore their creativity while learning about fundamental 2-D concepts and techniques . Students will create artwork with colored pencils , pastels , watercolors , and tempera paint .

Children live in a world where unicorns , mermaids , and magical slime inhabit their everyday lives . This class draws upon our students ' imaginations . We will use a variety of colorful materials to create our own imaginary creatures and lands .

Learn basic clay building techniques and decorating and glazing techniques using a wide variety of ceramic supplies and tools . Returning students are encouraged to work on their own fun and imaginative projects with instructor guidance . Clay , glazes , and tools are provided .

This class provides an introduction to the basic materials , methods , and principles of drawing and painting . As students create artworks in various media , they will gain an understanding of shape form , value , texture , composition , proportion and color .

This class will provide hand built functional and sculptural projects . Decorating and glazing techniques will be covered , as well as utilizing a wide variety of colors . Returning and advanced students will be grouped together and they may work on their own projects with guidance from the instructor . Clay , glazes , and tools are provided .
