Now in its third year , the Judy Beck Grant program is awarding $ 12,890 to eight community projects . Projects include a nursery school rainbow garden , indigenous medicine and pollinator garden programs , beekeeping and birdwatching programs , and more . Learn all about it on our website .
I am also pleased to share that the Glenview Park District was awarded the Illinois Park and Recreation Association ’ s ( IPRA ) Champions for Change Award at the IAPD / IPRA Soaring to New Heights annual conference awards luncheon on Friday , January 27 , at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Chicago .
