MESSAGE FROM THE PARK BOARD PRESIDENT
Dear friends and neighbors ,
With spring come the feelings of renewal and fresh starts . Here at the park district , spring means your park services crews will be busy grooming the parks and sports fields for spring play , and your programming staff is putting the final touches on an abundance of spring programs .
We are excited to bring back many activities for you and your family to enjoy . Here are a few highlights :

• The bunny returns to Park Center on April 9 for an EGGStra special egg hunt for preschoolers . Or you can have him hop on by your house to deliver spring goodies on April 14 and 15 .
• Make a splash in the environment by helping to restock Lake Glenview at Fish Release Day on April 23 .
• Celebrate May the 4th dressed as your favorite Star Wars character and join us for a Star Wars-themed scavenger hunt at Gallery Park .
• Watch our talented dancers and figure skaters perform at the annual Spring Dance Show , May 14 , and the Glenview Community Ice Center ’ s 48th Ice Show , May 20-22 .
Golf swings into spring with season pass sales starting February 28 . Shake the snow off your clubs with leagues and lessons for all ages beginning in April . Both golf courses will open for the season when Mother Nature complies . Stay tuned !
Come back to the Evelyn Pease Tyner Center at Air Station Prairie , which reopens this spring for public programs ! This unique facility is the place to learn about cutting-edge “ green ” technologies and explore the interconnectedness of our ecosystem . In March , Yoga on the Prairie returns with Saturday morning yoga classes that include an amazing view . Celebrate Earth Day , April 16 , with free crafts and activities for the whole family , walking tours of the prairie , and talks with experts in conservation and sustainability . Join Tipsy Paint May 12 for Painting on the Prairie . Learn to paint a nature-inspired masterpiece while enjoying wine and snacks at this adults-only night out .
