As we finish off the tournament season for 2019, I would like to thank all those who participated in
any /all the events. We enjoy hosting and running tournaments but it’s the participation that makes
for successful events. We still have a couple to go, make sure you save your spot. On October 31st, the
Seniors of Spring Creek will close out their season with the fall “Beat the Pro” tournament. The last club
event of 2019 is the ever popular Superintendent’s Revenge Scramble which will be held on November
2nd. While those events close out the tournament season, it is by no means time to put the clubs away.
There are still plenty of great days for fall golf. Congratulations to our four Club Championship winners
for 2019. Mrs. Sue Grenert repeated for the third straight year in the Ladies division. Bill Bascom
returned to the top of the Senior’s division for the fourth time, his first since 2016 and Vincent Nadeau
captured the Men’s division for the second time, his last victory coming in 2013. Spring Creek held its
inaugural Junior Championship and Mr. William Bascom took home the title with a great final round 39.
Daniel Ferguson and his partner Justin Moore won the Men’s Member Guest tournament. The Ladies
Member Guest winning team went to the team of Sue Atkins and her guest Antoinette Lucas. The
Member-Member winning teams were won by the formidable duos of Jym Muller and Corky Bishop
(Men’s) and Kathy Wimmer and Laura Kuhn (Ladies). Thank you again for all your support in these
events.
