Goalkeeping Level 3: The emphasis of this course falls on the tactical roles of the goalkeeper within the team framework.
Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma: An important aspect of this diploma is integrating the goalkeeper into team training and developing the goalkeeper’ s coordination with teammates in game situations.
These courses must be taken in sequence, with each building on the previous and serving as a prerequisite for advancement.
ADVANCED DIPLOMAS The most intensive offerings are our Advanced Diplomas, which include approximately 40 hours of directed learning and are delivered in a hybrid format combining online coursework, Zoom sessions and an in-person long weekend. These courses are typically offered during the winter and summer.
Advanced diplomas include:
» National Youth Diploma: Supports the coach in understanding and implementing developmentally appropriate training protocols for the 11 and under player.
» National Diploma: Focuses on technical and tactical knowledge on the field for individuals to small groups ending in 7v7.
» Advanced National Diploma: Emphasizes training players within functional groups and phase play ending in 9v9.
» Premier Diploma: Looks at the game through different systems of play, 11v11 topics and a leadership component.
» Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma: An important aspect of this diploma is integrating the goalkeeper into team training and developing the goalkeeper’ s coordination with teammates in game situations.
SPECIALIZED EDUCATION TRACKS For coaches seeking a focused pathway, we also offer:
