Nick Megaloudis

In 2022, he was inducted into the Long Island University Hall of Fame; he played professionally for Houston Hurricane of the NASL; and he played indoor professionally for the New York Arrows, Houston Summit and Las Vegas Americans. He was a popular figure in the German American & Greek Soccer Leagues with the famed New York Atlas, FC. Megaloudis was an All American with Long Island University and a member of the USMNT and U. S. Olympic program.
His coaching background is just as impressive with stints as the Director of Coaching and Education with Pinecrest, FC and Strike Force, FC; both clubs located in Miami, Florida. Nick was also a member of the U. S. Regional ODP Staff IV, overseeing a combined talented pool of players from Nevada and Florida. This eventually led to his professional coaching career with assignments at Florida Strikers( USISL) and Miami Fusion( MLS).
After many years of living in Florida, he returned to New York in 2017 where he is now residing and coaching with Manhattan Soccer Club. We caught up with up with this living legend to gain his perspective on various topics.
