The 2025 United Soccer Coaches Convention, held from January 8-12 in Chicago, was a landmark event that brought together soccer professionals from across the nation. As the largest gathering of its kind, our convention offered a comprehensive platform for education, networking, and the celebration of soccer culture.
This year’ s convention featured a diverse array of sessions tailored to enhance coaching methodologies and deepen understanding of the game. Yolanda Thomas kicked off the event on the Kwik Goal Demo Field with her session” Inviting & Solving Pressure to Advance the Ball.” Other notable sessions and presenters included: Emma Hayes, the Anson Dorrance & Friends Panel, Haley Carter and the Orlando Pride Staff Panel, Rob Dow, Giovanni Savarese, Becky Burleigh and Brett Ledbetter.
Our ongoing collaboration with the U. S. Soccer Federation was evident throughout the event, with joint sessions aimed at aligning coaching standards and promoting unified development pathways.
Convention is a special time of the year because it allows us to catch up with old friends and it allows us to meet new ones. As our event continues to evolve throughout the years, we cannot thank you enough for the endless support and excitement
We extend our gratitude to all participants, presenters, partners and volunteers who contributed to the success of the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Convention.
Together, we continue to advance the sport, inspire coaches, and enrich the soccer community. n
