A Message from City Manager Tamara Letourneau

Hello , Laguna Niguel ! I ’ m delighted to extend a warm welcome to Spring 2024 as we unveil a full menu of exciting events , a diverse range of engaging classes , and a rich selection of recreation and athletic programs . In the pages of this brochure , you ’ ll discover an abundance of opportunities to embrace the spirit of Spring and connect with your community .
In addition to all of our wonderful Spring program offerings , I am excited to announce that earlier this year we launched a new Quarterly Newsletter , titled ‘ The Laguna Niguel Beacon : Shining a Light on City Progress ’. This new newsletter-style publication is another example of our unwavering commitment to transparency , communication , and keeping the public well-informed about the ongoing developments in the city . ‘ The Laguna Niguel Beacon ’ symbolizes the City ’ s dedication to being a reliable and informative source , ensuring residents are informed and engaged . The first issue can be found on the City website , and it includes updates on La Paz Road , the Chet Holifield Federal Building , and the City Center Mixed-Use Project . Hard copies of the newsletter are also available at all City facilities . If you haven ’ t already done so , I encourage you to subscribe to receive the ‘ Laguna Niguel Beacon ’ by visiting the City website . Please stay tuned as we will be releasing the second issue in the month of April !

First Aid and CPR
Starting this Spring , the City of
Laguna Niguel is partnering with Premier Health and Safety to offer First Aid / CPR and Basic Life Saving classes . Premier Health and Safety aspires to INSPIRE agents of change in the field of aquatics , health and safety , and lifeguard services . First Aid and CPR classes are designed to give you the tools you need to provide care to a suddenly ill or injured person . Sign up today to learn more !

Yoga Flow
Join Islay Nicklin at Crown Valley Community Center for Yoga Flow ! Islay ’ s yoga qualifications include a 200-hour Vinyasa yoga certification as well as qualifications in Yoga for Older Adults , SUP Yoga , and Mindfulness Meditation . Yoga Flow is a yoga class for all levels . Blending elements of hatha and vinyasa yoga , this class will build strength and flexibility in the body and mind . Be sure to check it out !
