The key to our success at the University of North Dakota ( UND ) Law is our people . It is the staff , faculty , students , alumni , and community supporters who enable us to do great things . On April 16 , we celebrated outstanding contributions at UND Law in 2023-2024 :
International Human Rights Organization Advocacy Award for Leadership – Awarded to Aryan Siadat . Given to a student for their dedication , hard work , service to the community , and advocacy on behalf of human rights .
Multicultural Law Students Association Advocacy Award for Leadership – Awarded to Mishaye Belgarde . Given to a student for their dedication , hard work , service to the community , and advocacy on behalf of social justice and diversity .
Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Clinical Student Award – Awarded to Anne Marie Studer . Recognizes one student or team who has demonstrated excellence in the field work or seminar components of the clinic course .
Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Externship Student Award – Awarded to Vicki Alberts . Recognizes one student who has demonstrated excellence in the field work component or seminar component of the externship course .
Jack Marcil Advocacy Scholarship – Awarded to Cassandra Molivigny and Emerson Solemsaas . Awarded to third-year students who demonstrate professionalism , skill , knowledge , and ability in the area of trial and appellant advocacy .
Jack Marcil Alternative Dispute Resolution Scholarship – Awarded to McKoehm Tschider . Awarded to a top student in Alternative Dispute Resolution Class .

Outstanding Law Student Leader – Awarded to Jack Blotsky . Selected by a vote of students , faculty , and staff , the award recognizes one student who has made significant contributions to the UND law community .
Outstanding Law Student Organization – Awarded to Law Women ’ s Caucus . Selected by a vote of students , faculty , and staff , this award is given to a UND School of Law student organization that has made a positive impact on campus and in the local legal community during the academic year by providing opportunities to engage , learn , and lead .
Outstanding Law Student Organization Advisor Award – Awarded to Professor Blake Klinkner ( Advisor for multiple student organizations ). Selected by a vote of students , faculty , and staff , this award is presented to an advisor of a law student organization who has had a positive impact on the organization and the law school community .
Staff Excellence Award – Awarded to Career Services Director Mary Feller . This award is given to a staff member who went above and beyond in support of faculty , staff , or students . Since joining the School of Law , Feller has revitalized career development operations . She has engaged with students regarding all aspects of the job search process ; not just reviewing
