On Thursday , January 26th , the Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision hosted their annual Dining in the Dark , a unique and delicious four-course meal in complete darkness . Guests were invited to step into an unfamiliar world , with

this unique sensory deprivation experience , giving them an intimate understanding of vision loss . Dinner was served In January The Mansion on Forsyth Park ’ s award-winning 700 Kitchen Cooking School partnered with the SD Gunner by Savannah ’ s very own SWAT team , using special night vision technology . Proceeds for this unique experience benefit Fund , a local nonprofit organization that assists military families with the financial expense of training and owning the Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision . service / therapy animals , to host a special private cooking class for SD Gunner Fund program recipients and their caregivers .
