Hi everyone ,

As you know from InSide Cox Live , the Cox Culture has been on my mind lately more than ever . With so many changes in our market and our workforce , I want to make sure we are positioning ourselves well for the future . The pandemic may have tested us , but our culture and values are shining brighter than ever , and they will continue to guide us through whatever lies ahead .

2022 is off to a fast start .

At Cox Communications , Mark Greatrex has ambitious goals including an aggressive growth plan to improve the customer experience , simplify the business and build for the future . Mark has hit the ground running , visiting Cox employees throughout the country on his listening tour . Amidst all this , Cox Communications recently announced it is already a zero waste to landfill business , a couple of years ahead of schedule . This is a great achievement . It takes all of us to accomplish our sustainability goals , and I congratulate each and every one of you .

Cox Automotive just wrapped up the first in-person National Automobile Dealers Association ( NADA ) show since the pandemic began . It was an amazing moment for the company . We launched 37 new products , conducted 3,500 software demonstrations and reached $ 21 million in annualized revenue , which was 150 % of our goal . Cox Automotive also unveiled DRiVEQ , a data-driven platform that helps our customers make smarter decisions about how to grow their business .

At Cox Enterprises , we ’ re making plans for many of the investments and companies we acquired last year , while also continuing to evaluate future opportunities in line with our FutureFocus 2034 vision . We have big plans for BrightFarms , Nexus Circular and others . Be on the lookout for more news soon .

If you haven ’ t already , mark your calendars for the 34 by 34 Roadshow , which has already kicked off in Phoenix , Arizona . We have a team traveling around the country on a fun , educational tour that includes volunteerism and activities . It ’ s a great way to come together as a family and a team and show what our Cox Culture is all about . As part of the roadshow , we donated solar panels to the local Boys & Girls Club of America to help power its facility there . It was a wonderful event and I hope everyone in attendance left feeling inspired .

People coming together at events like these — or at our offices now that they ’ ve opened back up — is something I have really missed over the past couple of years . We can do amazing things virtually , but there ’ s nothing like seeing your colleagues or giving a hug to someone you care about . And that ’ s what we do here at Cox . We care about one another . We care about our customers , and we care about our communities . It ’ s why we do what we do . I ’ m looking forward to building together for many years to come .
