Sensory-Friendly Morning at Phipps Conservatory
On a cold January morning, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden opened their doors an hour early to provide a sensory friendly experience.
A number of Phipps staff worked with Jennifer Salamon at Autism Connection to provide a quiet and laid back visit for anyone with a sensory need. Families and adults living with autism enjoyed the Orchid and Tropical Bonsai show currently featured.
It was a wonderful morning, and we look forward to working with Phipps on more sensory friendly offerings in the near future!
