I think that books should not be banned . Books can be beneficial to people in many ways . I use books in many ways . Most of the time I just read books for entertainment and for passing time . I think that is a very good way to use books because it is very effective against boredom . According to The Atifice , “ Books are essentially a gateway to another world through the written word . Without books , much of today ’ s entertainment would not be the same .”
Plus , reading books can also strengthen and enhance your imagination , which is a very important skill that is used in many situations . The website Leverage Edu stated , “ Books can increase the power of our imagination and can act as a gate that opens doors to a dream world , far from the harsh realities of real life . Your imagination and creativity will be simulated by reading a good fictional book ”.
Another reason why many people read books is because of knowledge . Books are one of the oldest and most popular ways of acquiring knowledge , and there are books on almost everything . For example , whenever anybody asks Elon Musk , the founder of SpaceX , how he learned to build rockets , he says , “ I read books .” Even though I ’ m not the biggest fan of books . I don ’ t they should be banned . The loss and the potential benefits of books are just too great to forbid in my opinion .
