Operation Extended Hands which provided immediate financial relief to Coast Guard families affected by a devastating housing complex fire near Coast Guard Station Cape Hatteras Inlet , North Carolina in October 2020 . Over $ 31,000 quickly raised by AuxA members helped these families pay for relocation costs , replacement of household goods and personal effects , funeral expenses , and other unexpected costs .
